Data Scientist Hybrid in Guadalajara Jalisco

We are seeking a curious, analytical, and results-driven Data Scientist with 5+ years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling. This role is ideal for someone passionate about turning complex data into actionable insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics and classification tasks

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production systems

  • Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders

  • Perform data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation

  • Ensure data integrity, reproducibility, and documentation of all analytical processes

  • Stay current with advancements in data science, AI, and cloud technologies

Technical Skills Required:

• • 5+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics

  • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

  • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning algorithms

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with NLP, time-series forecasting, or recommendation systems

• Knowledge of MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)

• Exposure to version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies

• Experience working with business stakeholders in retail, finance, or telecom sectors

Location & Schedule:

• Location: Hybrid – Guadalajara, Jalisco (3 days on-site at NTT Data offices, Av. Mariano Otero 1249).
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Candidates must reside in Guadalajara or nearby areas (Zapopan, Tlaquepaque, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Fluent in English (Advanced) C1  - C2
