HCM  Payroll Consultant to Implement Time Management of US & Canada,  Remote in Mexico

 

We are seeking a seasoned EC Payroll Consultant to implement  Time Management and CATS  operating across the United States and Canada. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates cross-functionally, and is passionate about delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state and cross-border clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Manage tax filings, payroll reconciliations, benefit deductions, and year-end activities.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and client stakeholders to address payroll requirements and resolve issues.
  • Interpret and implement evolving payroll regulations across the US and Canada; advise clients on optimal processes and controls.
  • Support client onboarding, data validation, and continuous process improvements.
  • Prepare and present clear, actionable payroll reporting and insights.

Qualifications:

  • 4+  years of experience in consulting projects in the US and Canada, with payroll processing at scale.
  • 5+  years of experience in HCM  EC  Payroll and  Time Management with  CATS.
  • Technical Experience in SAP HCM Payroll for the US and Canada, including taxes, Benefits, and Vacations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state/provincial tax regulations, benefits, and compliance.
  • Experience with payroll systems and data integrity controls, taking care of Unit Test Scripts in HP ALM or Quality Center
  • Delivery   and documentation with appropriate screenshots for testing scenarios for business for UAT
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a consultative client-facing role.
  • Advanced English skills are mandatory, and only residents of  Mexico are eligible.
