Senior Power BI Consultant – Fully Remote in Mexico

Join our team in the IT sector as a Senior Power BI Consultant to support a short-term, high-impact project. We are looking for a professional with advanced technical skills and excellent communication abilities to collaborate closely with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on data-related queries and Power BI.

• Monitor and maintain reports and dashboards to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.

• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to support data needs.

• Optimize and improve existing dashboards, reports, and pipelines.

• Implement and enforce data governance and security measures.

Technical Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience in data and Power BI.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Gateway, and Power BI Mobile.

• Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.

• Experience with SQL and working knowledge of Big Query (plus).

• Experience in data modeling, data blending, and data transformation.

• Ability to write complex SQL queries with joins, subqueries, and aggregations.

• Experience with SQL Server, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Proficiency in DAX for advanced calculations.

• Knowledge of wholesale/retailer business is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills and leadership.

• Fully bilingual (Spanish/English) – Advanced level (non-negotiable).

• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively.

Working Conditions:

• 100% remote position based in Mexico.

• Project duration: 1 month with the possibility of extending

• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Mexico time).

• Salary: $50,000.00 MXN net. to $70,000.00 MXN net.
