Seeking Experienced Data Quality Engineers for Exciting Projects Remote in Mexico City

We are looking for skilled Data Quality Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join a dynamic team within a leading organization. This role involves implementing and operating data governance and quality platforms, with a strong focus on Informatica Cloud DataQuality (CDQ), Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), and data governance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the governance platform on CDGC and AXON.
  • Provide data governance support, data standards, quality frameworks, and data quality rules creation.
  • Configure and manage quality rules, policies, and stewardship workflows in CDQ/IDQ.
  • Integrate the catalog with source systems such as databases, ERP, CRM, cloud storage, and Databricks through scanners and catalog sources.
  • Govern the Databricks Lakehouse by aligning Unity Catalog lineage and classification with CDGC.
  • Collaborate with data owners and business stakeholders to define standards and quality requirements.
  • Ensure traceability, end-to-end lineage, and regulatory compliance of data assets.
  • Apply CLAIRE to accelerate rule definition and metadata classification.

Technical Skills Required:

With over 5 years of experience as a Data Quality Engineer, you must be proficient in the following technical skills:

  • Informatica IDMC – Governance & Quality.
  • Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) and Metadata Command Center.
  • Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) / Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
  • Data profiling, quality rule definition, continuous monitoring, and scorecards.
  • AXON Data Governance, including data domains, business glossary, and data stewardship workflows.
  • Databricks Lakehouse Governance and Unity Catalog.
  • Data governance, cataloging, metadata, classification, and end-to-end lineage.
  • Knowledge of CLAIRE for quality rules, metadata classification, business glossary descriptions, and policy documentation.
  • Experience with Azure data services such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as Glue Data Catalog, Lake Formation, and Redshift.
  • Knowledge of privacy and data governance tools such as OneTrust, Collibra, and Monte Carlo is desirable.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience in data governance and data quality platforms.
  • English proficiency: Intermediate.
  • Experience in regulated environments, GDPR, financial sector, and data privacy is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, commitment, and leadership skills.
  • Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog Professional Certification (ICP) is core to the role.
  • Informatica CDGC Foundation / IDMC Foundation.
  • CDMP, Databricks Unity Catalog / Data Governance, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) are desirable/complementary.

Location & Schedule:

  • Remote work from Mexico City, Mexico.
  • Work hours Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00.
  • Intermediate English skills are required, and only residents of Mexico.
