SAP CPI/PO Integration Specialist — Backfill Consultant (Remote - Mexico)

We are looking for a skilled SAP CPI Consultant to join a dynamic team and work on cutting-edge integration projects. This is a remote position based in Mexico, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of a leading global team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration scenarios using SAP CPI and SAP PO.
  • Utilize diverse adapters, protocols, formats, and security mechanisms (SOAP, REST, SFTP, HTTP, OData, JSON, XML, SSL, OAuth).
  • Apply functional understanding of business processes and integration best practices (EDIFACT, SAP IDOC, etc.).
  • Stay current with SAP integration trends and capabilities; suggest innovative approaches.
  • Collaborate with consultants, clients, and end users; document proposed and implemented solutions.
  • Analyze client needs, propose optimal integration options, and resolve issues during delivery.

Technical Skills Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying integration scenarios using SAP CPI and SAP PO.
  • English proficiency at Advanced level.
  • Experience in using various adapters, protocols, formats and security mechanisms for integration (SOAP, REST, SFTP, HTTP, OData, JSON, XML, SSL, OAuth
  • Technical knowledge of SAP CPI and SAP PO.
  • Functional knowledge of the business processes and applications that need to be integrated, as well as the industry standards (EDIFACT, SAP IDOC, etc.) and best practices for each case.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Fluent in English (Advanced) C1 - C2
  • Adaptability, curiosity and innovation to keep up with the latest trends in SAP and its products and services related to integration.
  • Teamwork, communication and presentation skills to collaborate with other consultants, clients and users, as well as to explain and document the proposed and implemented solutions.
  • Analysis, problem-solving and proposal skills to identify the integration needs of each client, propose the best available options and resolve any issues that arise during the process.

Location & Schedule:

  • Remote Work Model in Mexico.
  • Work hours Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00
